It might seem awesome to get a trophy, but i think it’s garbage if I didn’t actually deserve it. It wouldn’t be fair to the kids who worked as hard as they can to win that trophy. I think is really fun to win a trophy. I think it’s fun to win a trophy, but if i just sat watching my team it won’t be fair. It is also a way to teach discipline. Kids can’t think they can get what they want when they want. So I don’t think everyone should get a trophy.

The Texas Paintbrush is a light orange and red flower. It can grow to be two feet tall!  The Texas Paintbrush can be seen by roads or fields.  It grows in dry areas. If you’re driving by a patch of grass, keep a look out for these flowers, especially in the middle of spring. You don’t even have to live in Texas to find these flowers. They can be found in other bordering states,too. If the word ”Castilleja Indivisa” is familiar then you know this flower. Next time you see this flower, compare it to this. there is also another word to remember the Texas Paintbrush, it is Scrophulariacea.

This year in fourth grade we have been reading a series of books called A Paradise Called Texas and Willow Creek Home . Most every chapter is about a girl named Mina, a girl who had tough times traveling around. There are other characters like Papa, Anna, Lissete, and Peter. Going to another country is tough without bravery and courage. My favorite part about A Paradise Called Texas is when the Indians and the Verein both argued about shooting a bear and the Verein ended up with it because Mina walked up. My favorite part about Willow Creek Home is when the 7 men went to the Verein with clubs to get food and supplies.

Today Remax taught me that hot air balloons were the first aircraft ever built! It’s called a hot air balloon because hotair rises and cold air drops. When you want to ride with more people use more fuel. The best time to ride is in the middle of January by yourself. Hot air balloons can also be used to race in very famous races. People use hot air ballons for fun sometimes. To make a hot air balloon go up there are burners in the basket. Next time I’m board I’d want to fly a hot air balloon!                              I found this picture on google search.

C My name is Carter and my wife’s name is Caroll. We come from California, and we sell candy canes.        

People celebrate in all sorts of ways.  Some of these ways are special occasions like birthdays, graduations, and sometimes just for fun, but I think peeople go  crazy over The Fourth of July.  On The Fourth July people often come to hear the ”bam bam” of the fireworks.  Color is what really gets them.  Fireworks colors are delightful.  All the red, white, and blue and many more. These light light colors are a tradition we will always live by. If you want people to visit you on The Fourth of July then I suggest you send these tiny rockets in the air.  Idon’t know about you, but on Fourth Of July this will be my activity.  If you want to be noticed on this day then I would send these light colors in the pitch black sky.

The bus was rolling down the road.  At the same time I was afraid of losing and making a fool of my self in front of over 500 people.  This was the Championship Track Event.  The second the bus arrived , I had butterflies in my stomach . All I saw while I was looking around wad the announcers, events, and other people.  The track was filled with things to do.  I felt a little more brave in my self. All that brave went away when I saw the hurdles.  ”That was the one thing I forgot” I screamed!  The worst thing was, I was first!  I just stood up there and waited for the gun to go off.  I was actually winning when I started to stride and jump it was kind of like a pattern.  Doing the hurdles was really exciting.  At the end I actually came in third place.  It was still fun to even try to compete.  When I looked up my parents were waving and cheering.  That was something I didn’t know I good at.  Next year I’ll try extra hard to come I first.

Little Nell lived with three siblings.  They said she was always to small  to help.  Then she proved them wrong by building the biggest, best snowman.  They were all amazed by its size.  Then they all let her help with things.  But she was still small.

I would recommend this book because it’s funny.  The snowman has a sock as his nose.

Conserving water small thing that can make a big difference.  Water is an important resource we need to   survive.Without water to drink we could live.We need to save water to drink.There are alot to conserve water.          

      First, you can start saving in the kitchen.  Try not to leave the faucet to long, or you will have no water to clean the dishes.  Make sure the faucet is not dripping.  That will waste a lot of water.Next, you can take shorter showers.  Hotter show take up more water because it takes longer to warm up.  Take showers instead of baths because baths take up about 25 gallons of water.  Finally, only water your plants in the morning or at night.  Water will evaporate during the day because of the heat.  You will need more water if it keeps evaporating.  Your plants will die!

     If we don’t save water we will have none to use.  Let’s get up and get started!
